Just use a shitload of different games. It would make URWL even better.

how is dor2 a watered down version? it's literally the same game Un-turn off able stamina system and the longer loading screens in CAW. Really kept the game from being extremely awesome.

Load times aside, I think both DOR games are equal in terms of quality. Sometimes, though, DOR2's AI can be cheap. But, hey, that's because it's actually SMARTER (something SVR's next-gen iterations can't seem to get through their heads).

I'm like the only one that hates the DOR2 stamina system lol. But I don't remember its AI being cheap.

My reasoning was based on a four-man match I had in DOR2 between the CAWs of Emo, Barry, Tail and !nterogative that I made in that game. Playing as Emo, I thought I was in a good place in the match when I saw all three other men knocked out. I picked up Barry, and looked to hit the Whirling Dervish on him (a.k.a. the EMOtion). In the middle of the animation, though, up comes Tail and literally breaks the animation up in the middle of the move, sending Barry and Emo crashing down to the mat. I love when stuff like that happens, particularly because it doesn't happen in SVR at all (the shitty collision detection won't allow it, first off)...but I can't help but feel ripped off when it happens. Nothing against the game technically, it's just kinda frustrating...yet awesome at the same time.

the dor2 stamina system is nothing if aslong as you dont spend the whole match jumping around the ring like retarded Teddy Hart.
tag match AI is completely stupid, where as two computer controlled opponents seem too wrestle like a real tag team, a player with a computer character can be quite annoying as your partner will for whatever reason feel the need to break up your pin attempts

Wonder if we'll have to unlock achievements to use or be able to use some moves in create-a-finisher, kinda like you had to have a certain amount of money to purchase your created title?? or just be able to create from jump street? just a thought. -Goreala909

All right, Vince and I decided that the best option on 2009 was to simply display belts (from SVR2008) during entrances in new vignettes that display the belt up close instead of in the referee's hands (sort of like what EFW's been doing). The "frameworks" of those vignettes will be seen in Popular Demand and until we switch to 2009 (probably at Discontent '08 or after). When we do switch to 09, along with new production elements, you'll see the belts up-close in the vignettes during or after entrances. It sucks in theory, but it'll be better IMO than using WWE belts or leaving the game on '08.
This is all tentative. If 2009 sucks the big one (which it very well may despite how excited I've been to play it) then the preceding may all change. Until then, poll locked.

OK I'm confused "vignettes"...? clue me in because i'm in limbo about what to do about the belt situation myself?? Vignettes are basically the little clips that play to introduce title belts on our show and on WWE programming. They're basically a logo for the belt. You know what these are if you watch any title match from the beginning of the CAW era until now. Basically, it's like what we've been doing now but with a higher emphasis on the belts themselves, so that people at least know they exist. It sucks, but since CAB is gone, I can't do anything about the belts in entrances or after matches. I may as well acknowledge their existence despite this fact.

Shows the full detail of the belt and clearly states what title is at stake. Thanks for the compliment. It's what WWE does for their programming when they cut to a wide or neutral (audience) shot.

I just checked what you were takling about by checking out EFw and that plan works just fine with me. Do it if you must.

OK i had a thought about CAB removal situation, i have a solution that could work here we go , in title matches they always have close up shots of the refs from each brand holding up the titles , i was thinking of using a capture shot from SvR08 of the refs from all 3 brands holding each title in different venues, so in SvR09 if you choose an ECW venue,or RAw venue,or Smackdown venue, for your title match then you would choose the SvR08 capture shot of the ref holding which ever title is being defended so everything matches up (refs are the only thing that really stays the same each year) also be sure to keep an eye on ring rope color so that it matches as well. (this can be used in conjunction with the vignettes goldash007 was so kind to explain to me ) hit me with some feedback l,et me know what you think. -Goreala909
