Been here for a while, never properly introduced myself, how rude of me.
My name is Brent Harvey (Just call me Brent) and I am mostly known for being the originator behind the Brent Harvanator CAW. I am not a very social and open person, but I will tell you all that I want you to know. I was born in Sydney, New South Whales, Australia and I come from British descent from my fathers side of the family. I am currently 18 years old (though my CAW is 21) and still in highschool, yet to choose a career objective. I am anti-religious and really only care enough to read the story's behind them, which is an interest of mine. I don't see religion as a big deal, and see no reason to worry about it your entire life and waste it worrying about what happens when it ends, It's just what I believe so if that offends you in any way I do apologize. I absolutely love to listen to stories, mostly horror, because ideas for my wrestling content sometimes gets inspiration from there, as weird as it sounds, it works for me.
I have had a love for wrestling since 2005, watching WWE then grew to TNA in 2007, which grew to the Independent leagues and Japanese Wrestling in 2010. I have not watched WWE since before the Royal Rumble this year and I don't plan to again, my taste has left that company. I watch TNA from time to time, but my taste slowly is leaving that also, except for the X-Division, I LOVE the X-Division. Mostly, I watch NJPW and NOAH due to my love of Puro Wrestling.
Anyway, CAW shit time. I have been making CAW's since 2006 on SVR2006 (being my first wrestling game) and have been evolving my style ever since. I ran an E-fed, well, I guess you could call it that, it was mostly me and a bunch of friends playing wrestling games with our own original characters, from mid-2006 to the end of 2009. Since then, I decided to make a CAW league (only figuring out what CAW was in really late 2009), which has been in the works since then, called Rising Star Wrestling (RSW). It has taken so long to make for many reasons, mostly because I have been unsatisfied with my own work, guess you could say I am my most harshest critic, and I constantly think for hours and hours a day to think of new ways to present my content before I even start. Through a lot of trial and error, I have grown a style I can live with, uniting international wrestling styles under one roof. The company runs off a fictitious history I have written and been working on for the past 3 years called the Era of Wrestling (EOW) saga, which pretty much builds the foundation of what the company is now. Recording matches that I like using two controllers though seems to be my worst enemy :\ ... Anyway. I try to escape the clutches of WWE/TNA/Etc likeness with RSW, making CAW its own thing and IRL wrestling another, like how I think it should be, to a point that I have my own name for match types, my own training facility(s) for original CAW's to come out of, among other things. This honestly is mostly inspired by the URWL and VWA, which are the big reasons I still have interest in CAW Wrestling, that along with PURE and Pro Wrestling Dynasty.
I also have been playing online CAW wrestling, formally in a league named ICE (Channel is closed now) as Blair Morasko, and I am now signed to another one under a different name.
I like to help people grow their product also if they are trying to escape the cliches if CAW wrestling to make it more Pro Wrestling Machinima then anything else. I am open to try voice acting for promos (though I've never tried), Commentary (again something I need to practise with) and advice if it is ever needed. I only give my CAW's out to people I can trust with them, so it's debatable if I give them out. If you want to know my thoughts on what CAW should be, I will be writing that as a blog somewhere down the line, but don't hold me to that, I am quite lazy.
Anyway, i'm rambling. I welcome the RBN as my "Home away from home" when it comes to forum-esque websites, and I am glad to be apart of it in any way shape or form
