I kind of want the guy to retire. Thee late Barry White shouldn't be in a serious CAW league and I know Goldash means no harm but it just doesn't resonate with me well. Others may say it is a way to honor him but lets face it, Barry was not a wrestler. I understand that he was part of the original version of the URWL but this is a different time. I just don't see how he fits in.
I may be in the minority, but should Barry White's character be retired?

Moved to "Wrestler Discussion".
People who aren't familar with the league's history are probably perplexed by characters like Barry and Merle Haggard Jr. - they're probably thinking "how can a guy who believes in original CAW wrestling make celebrities?" And it looks VERY hypocritical of me.
But I'm keeping Barry where he is for now. No, I'm not revealing when he's coming back but he'll wrestle for another short while before he retires. He's the "Hulk Hogan" of the URWL, a grizzled veteran in his fifties who was the face of the league in a bygone era.
I understand how his inclusion in the YouTube era may tarnish the image of the URWL to those viewers who don't know our history, and it may have the potential to bring us down in the minds of those who feel that wrestlers like Barry and Merle shouldn't belong here. And I can definitely see where that idea can come from.
Long story short...when he comes back from "injury", he'll be around for a short while before having his retirement match.
