Impact was boring for the most part. Only the KO tag and the AJ/Angle match mattered to me. I didn't care for the old guys and Jeff's appearance was pretty cool. Other than that it was meh.

I'm with Main Event Quality...except for the Jeff Hardy part. Reason being, it made it feel like the only reason they ended the Steel Asylum match with a DQ was to rush Hardy's debut. It wouldn't surprise me if that was the case. I got angry over it really, DQ end to a CAGE match? And it's the opening contest? Why? And the Knockouts title match was a major disappointment. I don't want to see another Victoria/ODB feud. After Victoria feuded with Amazing Kong with a strong note, and then mentally broke down in an ODB segment the next show...guh.
Most of the debuts disappointed me, given I don't see the majority of them actually doing anything worthwhile. Hall will most likely no-show in the future. I've never been a huge fan of X-Pac. In fact, I don't really want another NWO rebirth, period. I'm not sure what to think of Val Venis. Shannon Moore stole AJ's wrestler of the year award, went to WWE, couldn't get over, and what now? lol Hardy has impending doom with the jail bust...
Ric Flair randomly showing up, and then not explaining why he's there, and then showing up again for a couple minutes in the main event, then leaving...didn't make much sense either.
Though, I really liked seeing Orlando Jordan. Mainly because him interacting with Burke and "You know, you remind me a little bit of me," line was just awesome. Considering the F4W wiki.
I was really hoping for Angelina Love to redebut that night, to kick Lacey's face in, but it never happened. Instead we got Val Venis, which really disappointed me.
I loved the Knockouts tag title match, even if they got sorta sloppy at the end, and I liked the main event. I kind of want to re-watch the main event again, just to see how many ankle locks were attempted by Kurt Angle. The entire last five minutes felt like a finisher-fest, which was fun to watch. Another fun match with Burke against Nigel. The finish was great, I just wish it lasted a little longer.

Honestly I haven't seen impact, but it just seemed like really bad car crash TV. Debuting several people that I personally don't care about which you have probably gathered from my previous posts includes Hogan and Flair. How does a Cage match end in a DQ? Jeff Hardy's debut is probably one good signing TNA could have made BUT He could still go to jail and his debut was really bad. Had I booked the KO title match I'd have had Angelina Love re-debut somehow, since she is probably one of the most over TNA originals. TNA promised "change" Hogan isn't change, he just paraded his buddies around and LMAO!
Footage of him going to the arena, footage of him arriving at the arena after 20 or so minutes of "he's coming" hype only for the idiot to say he was at the impact zone ALL DAY! I'll be seeing that on Botchamania soon.
I must say I do want to watch this Impact though, just to see for myself how bad it was. Also to check out the Angle/AJ match.
As for RAW had I watched that I would have been least disappointed since I expected their matches to be the same. So I saw the best parts for me really.

know that the day has passed and i can think about it more. I still think that TNA had a better show. WWE had bret hart, and IMO did nothing interesting with him. Like cmon, who didnt the whole Vince kick coming? And bret got up really quickly from that low blow, and acted like nothing happened. While i agree, and so did the crowd at impact, that the DQ in a CAGE match was bullsh*t. That being said I did really mark out when Jeff came out from the crowd. The whole hogan nWo angle is kinda starting to scare me. If the nWo returns in TNA thats gonna be what kills the company. Main Even Mafia tried it and it failed. Im interested to watch next weeks RAW and TNA just to see how they follow these two shows. I hope to see Bret be used abit better, but i might be getting my hopes up since he cant really wrestle. And just to end, TNA did prove to me at this weeks episode that they can hang with RAW. Each show had its up's and down's, but i think i had more fun watching TNA.

OK I saw most of Impact now and honestly the two parts I liked were the Knockouts Tag Titles match and Angle Vs AJ.
Both matches I found had good action in them, however why TNA planned their show where the commercial breaks were in the matches... WHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU DO THAT!!! Considering that the matches weren't that long anyway, something I feel TNA needs to remedy.
Also I feel the great match that Angle and AJ was a little spoiled by Flair appearing on the stage and them cutting to him at the moment AJ countered the ankle lock. (Again great planning.) I really don't see the point of having Flair do that and then at the end have Hogan come out and state what is the obvious to the TNA fans. I kind of felt the last segment of Foley being beatdown by the NWO should have happened earlier or not at all.
I am hoping that Kurt and AJ get another match and possibly a bit more time.
Also I lol'd at Krystal failing to draw heat for Lashley, at that moment I really think that the TNA fans couldn't give a shit if Lashley left or not. So many unneeded promos, 3 hours is PPV time length yet it probably had the same amount of wrestling matches as the average Impact. Also the promos seemed weak all around IMO with maybe the brief ones with AJ and Angle in the build to their match.
So many debuts yet not one of them actually wrestled, I think that someone would have marked out had a new(old?) face wrestled.

A steel cage match that ends in 4 minutes? by disqualification? And Jeff Hardy debuts in TNA while facing drug charges?

all I'm saying is this WWE better shape up this year cause TNA cause is kicking there ass so my advice 2 Vince is get rid of this PG bullshit and make WWE what it used 2 be with blood ,barbed wire, brutal matches and good PPV,thats all I'm asking. P.S., get rid off the fake ECW, and bring back the old superstars that we loved back in the day.
